The Adventure Continues
The 2011 Central Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School, Rainforest Adventure, has come to a close. We’d like to thank all the participants, parents, volunteers, teachers, youth leaders, and people who donated items to make this years VBS our best yet. We’ll be posting pictures here and on our Facebook page in the coming days! We sincerely hope that the bible adventues that our studens found in the rainforest adventure VBS continue for those students into the future. We can’t wait to see them again next year!
VBS Pre-Registration Notice! EXTENDED
Vacation Bible School Pre-Registration will close on Friday, July 29th Sunday Night July 31st!If your child is not signed up by this time the child will not receive a t-shirt on opening night. We are currently making plans on what happens in the event of late registrations. So please SIGN UP TODAY! THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!

Independence Day BBQ
New Minibus Ready for Trip
The New Minibus is ready and the CPC Youth group will be headed to Branson, MO this Sunday and will be gone till Tuesday afternoon. Please keep them in your prayers and we hope they enjoy their trip!! For more images of the bus click the link below.
Pentecost Sunday
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. We will be recieveing the Penecost Offering. Central will be using 40% of the Offering to support ministry with children at risk in our community. The General Assembly’s portion (60%) provides leadership development opportunities for Presbyterian youth and young adults and supports children-at-risk programs at the national level. Please remember the youngest of God’s family this weekend. If you will be unable to attend the service this Sunday you may make a donation here. The Jungle Book
CPC’s youth group will be headed to opening night performance of The Jungle Book at The Arkansas Arts and Science Center this Friday Night. We hope to see everyone there!
Holy Week Schedule

4/17 Palm Sunday-The Choir will present their Easter Cantata “The Lenten Sketches” by Joseph Martin
4/21 Maundy Thursday-a Last Supper meal will be celebrated in McElyea Hall at 6:00 p.m. The meal will include the communion elements.
