Rainforest Adventure Registration!
Rainforest Adventure Vacation Bible School is just around the corner! If you are interested in having a child attend please fillout the registration form here or at the church! We can’t wait to see you on Aug. 4th!
New Minibus Ready for Trip
The New Minibus is ready and the CPC Youth group will be headed to Branson, MO this Sunday and will be gone till Tuesday afternoon. Please keep them in your prayers and we hope they enjoy their trip!! For more images of the bus click the link below.
Holy Week Schedule
We have a lot of activities at CPC this week. Here’s the schedule of events!
4/17 Palm Sunday-The Choir will present their Easter Cantata “The Lenten Sketches” by Joseph Martin
4/21 Maundy Thursday-a Last Supper meal will be celebrated in McElyea Hall at 6:00 p.m. The meal will include the communion elements.
4/22 Good Friday-The sanctuary will be open for quiet meditation from noon until 3 p.m.
4/24 Easter/Resurrection Sunday–
An Easter Morning Breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at about 9:00 a.m. in front ofthe Youth Activities building.
Photos for the upcoming Pictoral Directory will be taken between 9:30am and 10am.
Sunday School will not meet Easter morning.
Easter/Resurrection of the Lord worship will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Please note this one-time change in worship time.
Order Memorial Bricks
If you have thought about making a lasting memorial to someone dear, now is a wonderful time to purchase a memorial brick with their name permanently inscribed. The cost for each brick is $65. If you would like to buy a memorial brick, order forms are located here. Complete the forms and either mail them to the church office with a check enclosed, or drop the forms off at the chruch during normal business hours. Tulip Extravaganza!
CPC is headed on another field trip, this time to Hot Springs! The first stop is Cafe 1217 for lunch. Then we’re headed to Garvan Woodland Gardens for the annual Tulip Extravaganza! The van will leave Friday, March 18th at 10am. Admission at Garvan Gardens is $9 per person/$8 for Seniors. A 45 min. golf cart ride is available for an additional $7 per person.
Daylight Savings Time
Just a reminder that Daylight Savings starts this weekend. Don’t forget to reset your clocks on Saturday Night! Don’t forget to check the batteries in your Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors as well!
Beginning of Lent Services
The first annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is this Tuesday at 5:30pm! The cost is $5 per person and $10 per family. If you are interested in attending please contact the church office!
Our Ash Wednesday service will be Wednesdsay at 5:30pm. More detailed information on the history of both events can be found in the March edition of the Central Scene. We invite everyone to attend both events!

Christmas Eve Service
We invite everyone to join us for our annual Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols Candlelight Service. It will begin at 6 p.m. and Communion will be served. We hope to see everyone there to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!
