Central Presbyterian Church will be having several Christmas services this weekend to celebrate the season. Tonight is our first ever Blue Christmas service. If you’ve lost someone, or are feeling blue, this service of remembrance and hope is for you. On Christmas Eve we will be having our Christmas Cantata “O Come Let Us Adore Him” at 11am in the sanctuary. That afternoon we’ll be having our traditional candlelight service at 5:30pm. We hope to see everyone this weekend! Merry Christmas!

We’re taking poinsettia orders! If you’re interested please fill out the Poinsettia Order Form, and mail, with payment ($15), to our church office. The deadline is Dec. 13th. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
PW Bake Sale!
All are invited to attend Central Presbyterian Church’s Annual Presbyterian Women’s Bake Sale! We’ll have a variety of homemade casseroles, pies, cakes, and other baked goods perfect for your Thanksgiving Feast! We’ll also have a selection of books, home décor, and fashion jewelry! We hope to see you there!
Trunk or Treat 2017
Trunk or Treat 2017 is right around the corner! CPC will once again have Trunks of Treats available for the whole community. We’ll also have a bounce house for the little ones! We’ll be starting at 4 pm on Saturday, October 28th. We hope to see everyone there!
Transitions
Change is a constant in this world and Central Presbyterian Church is no different. With that in mind we’d like to announce that we have a new Church Secretary! Justine Anton will now be available 4 days a week. Monday she’ll be in the office from 12:30-4:30pm. Tuesday through Thursday she’ll be in the office from 4pm-6pm. Justine Anton will now be available Monday and Friday Afternoons. This schedule is subject to change. If you have any new announcements or prayer requests please continue to use the email address office@centralprespb.com. That address can also be used to update your contact information, submit an article for the newsletter, or have prayer requests removed from the prayer list. As Justine gets situated please be understanding if something is misspelled, or something is omitted from a bulletin or newsletter. Thanks for understanding as we enter this time of transition.
Holy Week 2017
Holy Weeks starts tomorrow with a joint Palm Sunday Service at First Presbyterian Church @ 717 W. 32nd Ave. Pine Bluff, AR. A meal will be available for a donation after the service in their fellowship hall. Holy Week continues with our Maundy Thursday Service at 6pm. A meal will be provided during this service. We will have 3 unique Good Friday Services available…a short prayer service at 7am, a longer prayer service at Noon, and a traditional worship service at 7pm. Our Easter Services will start at 8am with a Easter Breakfast Buffet at 8am. An Easter Egg hunt is happening at 9am. And our Easter Morning Cantata Service will take place at 10am. We’ll be taking up the One Great Hour of Sharing offering on Easter Sunday. For information about that click HERE. We hope to see you as we celebrate this Holy Week.
Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper!
Central Presbyterian Church’s Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is Tues. Februrary 28th at 5:30 pm! Bring the family for a heaping helping of Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage, and all the fixings! Then come back on Wednesday for our Ash Wednesday service at 5:30 pm. Begin Lent with Central Presbyterian Church!
Chili Bowl & Souper Bowl
The Men of the Church will be holding a Chili fundraiser on Saturday, Feb 4th, at 11 am. You can dine in or take one to go! Then, Sunday, Feb. 5th, we’ll be collecting canned goods and monetary donations for Neighbor to Neighbor of Pine Bluff during the annual Souper Bowl of Caring following worship! Thanks for supporting our church and we hope to see you there!
Christmas Services
