Central Presbyterian Church is the Proud host of the 121st stated meeting of the Presbytery of Arkansas! The meeting is a 2 day affair this Friday and Saturday. We are currently signing up people for our annual trip to the Grady Lions Club Fish Fry. We’ll be leaving the church at 4pm on Aug.16th. We’ll return around 6:30pm. Sign up in McElyea Hall. Cost is $12 per person.
Central Presbyterian Church invites all children to get ready to dive into fun at Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep With God Vacation Bible School. Explore and experience God’s underwater universe at VBS! The fun begins July 26th and ends July 28th.
The adventures include regular Deep Sea Voyages into Bible fun and creative crafts, water activities, and great music. To be a part of all the excitement at Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep With God, REGISTER HERE!

4/5 Maundy Thursday– A Last Supper meal will occur in McElyea Hall at 6p.m. The meal will include the communion elements.
4/6 Good Friday– the Sanctuary will be open for quiet meditation from Noon until 3p.m.
4/8 Easter / Resurrection Sunday–
Sunday School WILL NOT MEET THIS WEEK.

The Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will occur on February 21st, at 5:30pm in McElyea Hall. The Cost will be $5 per person and $10 per family. Everyone is invited to come and bring a friend! The Ash Wednesday Service will begin at 5:30pm in the sanctuary. Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Lenten Season that prepares us for Easter. We again invite everyone to come and bring a friend!
Clear your schedule for February 12th after worship when our youth will sponsor our Annual Valentine’s Banquet. Everyone is invited to join us for lunch following morning worship and celebrate Valentine’s Day. The menu features Suzy’s famous homemade lasagna with all the trimmings. Costs are $8 for Adults, $15 for Couples, and $20 for Families (4 or more).
This Sunday is the Souper Bowl of Caring. All donations made to our Youth this Sunday will go to Neighbor to Neighbor. For more info see the video below!
All Are Invited to Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship on Sunday, January 29, at 5:00 p.m. This month’s Blue Moon program is a “hymn sing” followed by a fellowship meal featuring your favorite soups, salads, sandwiches, chips & dip, and desserts. This is the perfect opportunity to brush off a favorite recipe and share it with everyone. A sign up sheet has been placed on the bulletin board in McElyea Hall so that you can let us know if you plan to attend and what you would like to bring. The bus will be available so if you would like a ride, give the office a call and let us know. We hope to see you there!
This Saturday is our Annual Chili Luncheon from Noon to 4pm hosted by the Men of the Church. Tickets are available for carryout lunches for $6 at the church or from Laura Cosner, George Mosley, Dana Neal, Amber Poss, and Zac Cosner. You can also pay on Saturday at the church. Each Lunch includes A bowl of Chili, a small cup of cheese, a bag of Fritos, and a snack cake. If you dine in the whole family can eat for $18! Proceeds go to the Playground Fund.
