Join us for a Holiday Wrapping Extravaganza! We’re calling it “Wrap it Up!” and proceeds collected from the fundraiser will be contributed to our Playground Fund! We’ll be in the Youth Building on Saturday, Dec. 10th and Saturday, Dec. 17th from 10am till 3pm both days! Dr. Dan Festa will also have fused glass jewelry available for purchase as well! Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday, November 27th, at 5:30 p.m. for the Moravian Love Feast. The annual Moravian Love Feast is a traditon at Central. Members of the church bring sweet breads to be blessed and shared. Also, Hot Wassail, a spiced apple punch, is available for everyone to drink. We hope to see you there!

It’s Time agan for the Annual Presbyterian Women Bake Sale! It will take place in McElyea Hall this Saturday at 9am! Puzzles and Books will also be available! Proceeds from the sale will go toward PW Mission projects throughtout the year. This Sunday we’ll also be taking up the PW Thank Offering.

Get your Decorations, Costumes, and Candy ready! This sunday is Trunk or Treat! Festivities begin at 5pm. We’ll have an inflatable gym, Hot Dogs, and candy for all! Please invite friends and family to join us for the food, fun, and fellowship!
Join us for our Pink Pasta Party Friday October 21st @ 6:30 p.m. in Mclyea Hall. A Spaghetti Dinner will be served with dessert! We’ll be playing games and giving a door prize away! $6 per person and $15 per family! The Church will be taking the Mini Bus to the Race in Little Rock at 5:30 a.m.! We hope to see everyone at both events!
A montly tradition that sometimes doesn’t get enough attention here on the web is our monthly Fellowship Luncheon. It’s a traditional pot luck luncheon, that takes place every third Sunday of the month, and everyone is invited to stick around after our Worship Service for a fellowship meal. We’d love to see you this Sunday!
Mark your calendars for the Susan G. Komen “Race For The Cure” Saturday, October 22nd! Central will be organizing a team again this year, and we can tell you the race is always a blast! Women can register for the 5k, 2k, or “Sleep In” race; men can register for the “3 Miles of Men”. See www.komenarkansas.org for more details, and sign up for our Team “Central Presbyterian”. If you don’t want to participate, but DO want to make a difference, you can donate to our team or to an individual walker on the race website. We will have team t-shirts, so please contact Laura Pierce at 501-960-4804 by Sunday October 2 if you have a question or want to participate.
Online Registration deadline for the Race For The Cure is October 9th. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked September 21st.
Our team t-shirts will also include a list of our loved ones who have been touched directly by breast cancer, so please submit those names before October 2 as well.
The 2011 Central Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School, Rainforest Adventure, has come to a close. We’d like to thank all the participants, parents, volunteers, teachers, youth leaders, and people who donated items to make this years VBS our best yet. We’ll be posting pictures here and on our Facebook page in the coming days! We sincerely hope that the bible adventues that our studens found in the rainforest adventure VBS continue for those students into the future. We can’t wait to see them again next year!
