Holy Week begins this Sunday with Palm Sunday, March 24th. Following Palm Sunday Worship we’ll be dedicating our new playground! Thursday, March 28th, we’ll be holding our annual Maundy Thurday Meal. This will be a Last Supper Meal and will include commnuion elements. Our Sanctuary will be open for quiet meditation from 1-3pm on Good Friday, March 29th. Services for the Resurrection of the Lord/Easter Sunday will include a Breakfast at 8am, Egg Hunt at 9am, and worship at 10am, on the morning of March 31st. Central Presbyterian Church is the Proud host of the 121st stated meeting of the Presbytery of Arkansas! The meeting is a 2 day affair this Friday and Saturday. VBS Registration is LIVE!
Central Presbyterian Church invites all children to get ready to dive into fun at Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep With God Vacation Bible School. Explore and experience God’s underwater universe at VBS! The fun begins July 26th and ends July 28th.
The adventures include regular Deep Sea Voyages into Bible fun and creative crafts, water activities, and great music. To be a part of all the excitement at Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep With God, REGISTER HERE!
Packed Sunday!!
This Sunday is going to be a busy one at Central Presbyterian Church! When our Normal Worship Service is over stick around for TWO Men’s Fundraisers. They will be hosting a Spaghetti Luncheon and a Car Wash Following Service. At 2pm the youth will be headed out to see Stuart Little at the Arts and Science Center! Then at 4:30pm come on back to the Fellowship Hall for a little Blue Moon Bingo, with fundsraised from this event going toward the playground fun! We hope to see everyone at all these events!

We have a full schedule of events leading up to Easter here at CPC this week.
4/5 Maundy Thursday– A Last Supper meal will occur in McElyea Hall at 6p.m. The meal will include the communion elements.
4/6 Good Friday– the Sanctuary will be open for quiet meditation from Noon until 3p.m.
4/8 Easter / Resurrection Sunday–
- An Easter Morning Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m.
- An Easter Egg Hunt will be held in front of the Youth Activities Building at 9 a.m.
- Our Easter / Resurrection of the Lord worship service will be held at 10 a.m.
- Please note this change in worship time!

Shrove Tuesday & Ash Wednesday
The Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will occur on February 21st, at 5:30pm in McElyea Hall. The Cost will be $5 per person and $10 per family. Everyone is invited to come and bring a friend! The Ash Wednesday Service will begin at 5:30pm in the sanctuary. Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Lenten Season that prepares us for Easter. We again invite everyone to come and bring a friend!
Blue Moon Hymn Sing
All Are Invited to Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship on Sunday, January 29, at 5:00 p.m. This month’s Blue Moon program is a “hymn sing” followed by a fellowship meal featuring your favorite soups, salads, sandwiches, chips & dip, and desserts. This is the perfect opportunity to brush off a favorite recipe and share it with everyone. A sign up sheet has been placed on the bulletin board in McElyea Hall so that you can let us know if you plan to attend and what you would like to bring. The bus will be available so if you would like a ride, give the office a call and let us know. We hope to see you there!
Christmas Services
Our Christmas Eve Candlelight service will be at 5 P.M. this Saturday Night. Christmas Day Services will be held at 11 A.M. Sunday Morning. Opening Ceremonies and Sunday School have been canceled for Christmas Day. The Church Office Will be closed Monday Dec. 26th and Monday Jan. 2nd. From our Congregation and Staff, we wish you and your family a blessed Christmas Day!
Annual Moravian Love Feast
Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday, November 27th, at 5:30 p.m. for the Moravian Love Feast. The annual Moravian Love Feast is a traditon at Central. Members of the church bring sweet breads to be blessed and shared. Also, Hot Wassail, a spiced apple punch, is available for everyone to drink. We hope to see you there!
