We have several upcoming events at CPC! Saturday May 11th the ladies of the church are headed back to Keo to eat at Charlottes and do some antiquing! Contact Laura Cosner if your are interested! Sunday June 2nd is Senior Sunday! We’ll be honoring our Graduating High School Seniors, Benjimen Neal and Brynne Massey. Finally on Saturday June 15th we’ll be taking a trip to Crenshaw Springs Waterpark in White Hall. If you are interested in joining us please let the church office know! We hope to see everyone at these great events!!

The Presbyterian Women have scheduled an overnight trip to Northwest Arkansas to visit Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art this February 20th and 21st. A new traveling exhibit called Van Gogh to Rothko:Masterworks from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery is opening on Feb. 21st! A signup sheet is available for those interested in McElyea Hall. Since this will be an overnight trip there will be a deadline of February 12 for signing up. This trip is open to all members and friends! We hope that you can join us on this exciting trip!

The Presbyterian Women’s Birthday offering will be received on June 29, during morning worship. The offering funds up to five projects that are not included in ongoing General Assembly mission support, such as agricultural development, child care, community organization, criminal justice, drug counseling, economic justice, elderly care, employment training, homelessness, literacy, violence and women’s concerns.
The Creative Ministries Offering Committee has chosen one project—Blue Corn Mothers Alliance—as the recipient of the 2014 Birthday Offering of Presbyterian Women. This project provides a range of services, from crisis intervention to education, for Albuquerque’s Native American women who experience domestic violence. The grant amount will depend on gifts contributed during 2014. The goal for the 2014 Birthday Offering is $500,000. Please give as you have been blessed and support this life-changing project. Overwhelmed by the thought of holiday gift wrapping? Let us do the work at Wrap-it-Up! On Saturday, December 14 & 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Central Presbyterian Church, you can bring your items to the Youth/Activities building to have them wrapped. The price list is as follows:
Small Gifts-$3.00—–CD’s, Books, jewelry, candles.
Medium Gifts-$5.00—-Shirt sized boxes, board games, dolls, calendars, and shoe boxes.
Large Gifts-$10.00—-Large clothes boxes, coats, small kitchen appliances.
